HUGE OLD LATHE 
IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION 
COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED AND RESTORED

     The motor on this lathe is presently a 3 phase motor. There are some other large plate attachments that go with the lathe. One three jaw adjustable chuck and a four jaw adjustable chuck are included.
    This lathe was restored about ten years ago by us. We never got around to painting it. I have been told this lathe probably came off an old ship but I don't know that for sure. The name on the lathe is Betts Bridgeford Rochester New York USA.  It has been retrofitted with an electric motor, a clutch and a manual transmission.
     If you have any information on this era of lathe we would appreciate hearing about it. Also feel free to come and look and listen to the stories about how and why we restored it.

Purchased new and used very little. Have extra blades that have not been used. This was the largest model at the time. Comes complete with caster wheels so it is easy to roll around. Also have a wooden top that converts the saw to a work bench when not in use.
